Learn from the Nerds

Now offering B&W hand-developing classes

Camera Basics:

Tired of using “Full Auto?” Want to dig deeper? Sign up today and advance your knowledge of film OR digital cameras.

From the newcomer to the self-taught, this class will help you improve your photography and use of ‘manual’ cameras to ensure that your frames come out the way you want!

The class lasts approximately 3 hours and includes a follow-up meeting with the instructor in the future, to look over the photos from the next roll that you shoot. In order to keep you practicing, all participants will leave the class with a FREE roll of color film and FREE developing for that roll. Once you shoot and develop the roll you can come in and have your roll reviewed, discuss any issues that you had, and ask any follow up questions from the class!

Our in-house “professor” has 5 years of experience teaching both Cinematography at Boston University, and motion picture film at Emerson College so you’re in good hands!
